arandr: GUI tool for Display Configuration

Photo of author

A useful tool to configure the resolution and orientation of your display/monitors. Much easier to configure than using the xrandr directly from CLI.

Install it using sudo apt install arandr.

If you have a fixed number of monitors and donโ€™t change configuration often, you can manually configure them once using arandr and save the config on disk. Then simply reload that configuration on startup from your xinit.rc.
