Huel: My First Impression of Powder, Bar and Ready-to-drink Bottles

I decided to try Huel for the first time. It’s a meal replacement drink that is convenient and healthy. It’s supposed to be a convenience, not a total replacement for all your meals.

Here is what I tried and what I thought:

  1. Huel Powder: I tried the banana-flavored powder mixed with water. It doesn’t taste great at all. Had a difficult time finishing it. Almost made me lose faith in the product.
  2. Huel Nutrition Bar: Snack bars of 4 different flavors. They were incredible! ❤️ Tasted very good. I have unhealthy snacking habits and I tend to overeat snacks. I can completely replace all my unhealthy snacks with this easily.
    • Nutrition bars are game-changing. I can see lots of use cases for them. For example, I don’t have to make and carry sandwiches for hikes. I can just carry a few bars instead, which should be enough to get me through!
  3. Huel Ready-to-Drink: 400 kcal drink of different flavors. Some of the flavors were really good! Some are not that great.
    • While the Huel powder didn’t taste good, it’s most likely due to my recipe (all I did was add water). Huel Ready-to-drink proves that Huel Powder can be made into a tasty drink. I just need to find good recipes (remember that the recipe must be simple and convenient, otherwise I can just cook instead).

Overall, Huel has great potential to be part of your healthy diet 👍

I am working out how to effectively integrate it with my diet. I recommend giving it a try if you have been thinking about it. Here is my referral link if you need a 15 GBP discount.
