I got an email from my hosting provider saying they will be doing system maintenance and that I should back up my blog just in case. Well, that’s news from 3-4 months ago. I have been planning some kind of regular backup system since then.

There are many options in WordPress. I decide to use a plugin: Updraft Plus.

It was a simple matter. I simply installed the plugin, connected my Google Drive account as the remote storage from the settings, and scheduled a weekly cadence for the backup job.

Hopefully, that should take care of backup🤞.
